These huggable, lovable felines have the ability to go limp in your arms. Females averaging from eight to fifteen pounds while males can reach twenty plus pounds. Maturity is reached between three and four years of age, and the ragamuffin remains playful throughout their adult life.

Ragamuffins are intelligent, sweet, and get along well with children and other household pets, birds, fish, dogs, and no stopping them from being friends with all. They are easily taught to walk on a leash and may be taught to do tricks such as fetching, rolling over, sitting up to beg, etc.
Having been bred for an extremely docile nature, the ragamuffin thinks everyone should be their friend, and not knowing the dangers of the outside world. Not knowing the dangers of the outside world, they are strictly ''indoor members of the family''.

Our kittens are raised underfoot where they have opportunities to play with children and other pets. Working within the home, we make a conscious effort to spend time with each kitten daily so they will be well socialized when they are adopted.
Ragamuffins are slow in weaning and are not ready to leave for their new home until about sixteen weeks. During this time,
the kitten's health and social life are the utmost importance.

Ragamuffins are registered with American Cat Fanciers Association (ACFA), Cat Fancier's Federation (CFF), International Cat Exhibitors (ICE), and United Feline Organization (UFO).
Kittens from Cupid Rags are examined by a licensed veterinarian, receive appropriate vaccinations and are tested for FeLV and FIV before leaving the cattery. Our kittens are guaranteed against life threatening genetic defects for three full years.
We use the finest pet food available without preservatives and use natural litter to ensure each kitten has the best start to a happy and healthy life.
